Guest speaker, Dr. Nancy E. Reichman, is an economist in the Department of Pediatrics, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Rutgers University. Her research focuses on linkages between socioeconomic status and health.
Her project investigates the effects of welfare reform in the U.S. on health and social behaviours of adult women and their adolescent children. In another current project, she is investigating effects of gestational age and obstetric interventions on neonatal morbidities and child development.
